Great jeans if you nail down the sizing
I'm 5'3'' and 130, the original way high jeans never worked for me (could barely sit down with the high rise). So far I've tried 3 colorways in the 2. 0 jeans (Ecru, dark indigo, and black). The black colorway does not feel like jean material, it's thin and feels more like regular cotton. It is a true black. I guess it's good for work. But I wanted jeans so that's out. I'm usually a size 27 or 28 depending on cut. The Ecru in 27 fits well, but had to go up a size on the Indigo blue (like some other review had mentioned, the Indigo blue seems to be a full size smaller, at least compared to the Ecru). The Ecru is also a bit thin for jeans, I wish it was thicker as it gets wrinkled easily. But the cut fits me so well I kept the jeans. At 5'3'', the Ecru length works well (hit a little below ankle). Length wise, the Indigo Blue in size 27 is too short for my liking (at ankle pre-washed, so could shrink), but that might not be a problem for others. The material is also a bit thin and feels a little cheap for the price. BUT, at size 28 (which i exchanged at the store) it's full length AND the material is thicker! It's frustrating bcz there are inconsistencies even in the same colorway. That's been my experience shopping at Everlane in the last couple yrs. I kept the size 28 and ended up hemming it a little. Overall, I love how these jeans make me look (dare I say taller and thinner, lol), esp paired with a cropped sweater. i can now also sit down comfortably. But you do have to do a little back and forth to nail down the correct sizing. Now if they can make these jeans thicker I'll buy them in all colors!
