Major flaw and terrible customer service.
I purchased these along with many other pieces (notably my first order and experience with Everlane) I love the pants aside from them having a major flaw. The front zipper is sewn offset to one side by about 2 inches giving them a very odd look when I tuck in my shirt. I contacted Everlane via chat and then was later contacted by multiple customer service representatives via email asking for photos of the pants on and off. I sent probably 8 photos over 3 different emails and was first told I just needed to iron the pants, which I did and it did not help. Then they said I needed to wear the pants and they would “relax” which I did and they did not. They are flawed and I have sent plenty of photos to prove it, but Everlane refuses to replace them with another pair because they were final sale. I’m not asking for a refund I just want a pair that isn’t defective. Final sale doesn’t mean you get to sell defective clothing without disclosure. Word to the wise: Should you ever experience something like this you can contact your bank, as long as the card you used has a visa or Mastercard logo (this is true for discover/amex as well) you can dispute the charge for defective merchandise and get your money back. Which is exactly what I’ll be doing after submitting this review.
