MY WINTER UNIFORM -- I OWN FIVE PAIRS
Bought my first Dream Pants in 2022, in black and forest green. Both shades have faded somewhat (to be expected after 3 years of constant wear) but the older pants are still serviceable for errands and dog-walking. No ripped hems, no torn seams, no pilling or fraying, and NO shiny spots. I wash them in mesh bags on delicate in cold water, line dry, no iron) Fabric is substantial, a good weight for cold temps but not too heavy, with a comfy smooth finish that holds up well all day. I'm a curvy hourglass 5'6"" and 183 lbs. XL fits perfectly. I weighed 172 at the time of my first purchase and could have gone down a size but the roomy cut flatters my body type and tummy, even at a higher weight. Pintuck seams (slimming), finished front waistband (polished), back elastic waist (forgiving!). Nicely finished side pockets that don't clump on the thigh. Length hits just above my ankle, good with flats, boots, sneaks. I buy these pants on sale ($35/pair) and at that price, I give them five stars for value. But the Dream Pant is still a good investment at retail ($88). They will take you anywhere, with a quiet classic style. Terrific choice for office and travel.

Almost a Dream Pant
Based on their description and the many stellar reviews of this pant, I wanted and expected to love everything about the Dream Pant and be five-star satisfied. Although I kept the pant, I did so with doubts. This is a pant I wanted to wear during international travel, but I won't know if they'll function as I want until my next int'l trip. The positives that made keeping the pants a sensible decision were the appearance, finish, and pintuck detail. The negatives were what I consider a 'bunchy' elastic waist; and on the +/- list was the weight of the fabric. Weight and the real estate clothing demands in one's suitcase are important if one goes carry-on only (as I do). This pant really is like wearing a high-end sweat pant that looks like trousers--except for the unattractive bunching at the waist, which also reminds me of an old school sweat pant. I'm usually better served by Athleta styles for something like this, but they don't at this time carry a comparable pant. // I'll return here in a few months to edit this and share whether they made my ""flight plan"" outfit or not, and whether I ultimately experience buyer's remorse. // NOTE to cotton lovers: Other buyers mistakenly identified this pant as having no synthetic fibers. The 58% Cotton, 38% Modal, 4% Elastane blend does indeed use synthetics to make the pant forgiving, comfortable, and stylish.
